I may be one of the few interested in m-ITX mobos, but this sure peaked my interest more.

I emailed Commell today to ask them if they were considering making a m-ITX mobo that supports the just-announced quad-core processors, and they replied with: "We are looking into it, for both AMD and Intel. We are also releasing a Core 2 Duo m-ITX motherboard before the end of this year".

I'm completely pumped, and had to share that :D

There's a new BIOS on Commell's website for the exisitng LV-677 board that will allow it to run Merom C2Ds, so it's already an option. I assume they're going to do a i965 chipset board for the desktop chips then?

I'm just hoping there will be a new 3.5" board for Merom sometime soon. Ibase makes one that has an onboard 1.6Ghz Yonah, and had plans for a socketed one, but so far no Merom ECX/3.5" Embedded boards out there. Hoping Commell has one in the works, very pleased with their LE-370.
