Okay so I figured everything should be fine and WinXP would be saving restore points since I dont have anything selected I dont think to not keep them. So how do I make sure they are set?
Okay so I got a trojan today and it fuc*ed up my desktop icons how do I fix them now they are white and look like crap?
This I would think would work but doesn't so yes I have tried this:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Performance.
4. Click to clear the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop check box, click Apply, and then click OK two times.
5. Close Control Panel.
