using the bootcfg command from xp repair, ive done before removing a boot i didnt want on a dual boot, i forgot if someone can refresh my memory so when i attempt it will go smooth.

Use your XP cd, recovery console, type "fixboot c:"... assuming it's on your c drive.

ok fixboot is command i will be using, the boot im trying to get rid of will be C:, cause current boot i use and want to keep is F:, upon bootup, the windows i boot into is the first one.
first boot=F: which I want to keep
second boot=C: one I want to get rid of
if im correct I will end up using delete command?
