So i just built a new core 2 system, i installed sisandra to take a look around afterwords and it reports my SATA drive as being a slave? Whats up with this and is it a bad thing i should be trying to fix? Thanks

Might be a bug with the program, since SATA doesn't have any concept of master/slave since it's strictly point to point. Either that or the controller is some how responding with that for compatability reasons. I have known of a few older systems that emulated IDE so you didn't need the SATA drivers to use the drives.

yeah this is the Intel Bad Axe mobo, 975xbx, its running core2 so its not that old :) As long as im not doing something wrong that will cause a preformance loss im ok, my old system was all IDE so this is my first dive into SATA in the windows world. On linux i never really checked..
