I know that 2.5" 10k SAS drives exist... and I want one for my laptop. Honestly, I dont care much about GPU speed anymore (an x1400 will be fine for my older games and we have consoles for the other stuff) and this is the ONE thing that I would LOVE to have in my laptop... a 74GB 10K drive. If I could get that, I would get rid of my desktop.

Anyone know anything about this? I plan on buying a new laptop within a year and would love to plug a 10k drive in... the Raptor is one of the things I love about my desktop so much..

I don't think that would be in the market any time soon. SCSI drives (included SAS) are intended for workstations and server situations. SATA and PATA are intended mostly for the average consumer PC, so I don't think 10K SATA drives will be coming in 2.5" form any time soon, not until most consumer PCs include 10K 3.5" drives. This is simply my speculation though.
