I'm trying to load XP onto a server that will have a 3ware 9500s driven RAID array. The problem is that Windows is saying that it requires files to be written to the RAID array in order to be able to write to the standalone Raptor. The Raptor is plugged into one of the SATA ports on the motherboard. Is there a quick way to avoid this? Basically, it is reading the 3ware device as disc 0 at id 0 on bus 0 vs the Ratpro as disc 0 at id 0 on bus 1.
Any ideas?

Pull the array out, install the OS, plug array back in. Or don't load the drivers for the 3ware (I don't think it has them by default...).
