Everything worked fine, I'm running XP Pro SP1. But starting last night XP just keeps rebooting itself randomly like someone pressed the 'restart' button on my computer. Feels like theres a short or something because I feel no other symptoms on my machine.

Anyone know why? :(

Start off by checking the power cable and then move to the power supply if you have a tester or a power supply that you can use to test with. My guess would be the power supply.

Good Luck!

Random reboots are also a symptom of a virus, or simply the computer blue screen crashed (which is turned off by default in winxp, set to reboot automatically). Check under the properties under My Computer, the Advanced tab, then hit StartUp and Recovery [Settings]. There is a checkbox for Automatically Restart, uncheck it. Then if it reboots on you again, you know it is not a software/driver bluescreen crash, it's definitely hardware (or a virus).
