Accidentally deleted my documents folder on my desktop. Windows 2000.

How do i get it back without creating a shortcut?

It's been a long time since I used 2000, but this works for XP. Right click the Taskbar, and choose properties. There should be some options on what to display on the desktop, and what not to. If it's like XP, you should be able to check the box and get your shortcut back on the desktop.

Make new folder on your desktop and name it (without the quotes):
"My Documents.{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}"

The new folder will turn into a My Documents folder. :D
