My computer has been running fine since my last Windows XP SP2 install (after buying new hard drives). Then randomly a few days ago an error message kept popping up, saying "Generic Host Process has encountered a problem and needs to close." I click "Send Error" for the hell of it, and after it sends the report, my internet disconnects and the computer starts to run slowly.
I've tried to reinstall the driver for the PCI ethernet card I use, and delete and recreate the connection for my DSL modem. None of this seems to work.
Sorry for the unspecific information, but I have only one running computer at my house, and short intervals, between restarts, of working intenet. If you need any more information, ask and you will receive.
Thanks
