on both, which allows windows to decide to use the drive that is less busy when a swapping operation occurs.

If you have to choose: raptor.

Well the Raptor is replacing the Seagate, however, I can keep the Seagate in if it will benefit me to put a Swap on both.

I have 1.5GB of ram and all my media/pictures are stored on a server.

Storage is Not an issue, I can't fill more then 20Gb.

it depends how often you are expecting to swap.

If you would only keep the seagate for swap and not to separate your workloads, I would say that there is little chance that the added heat, complexity and power consumption will pay off.

In short: unless you can do something else with the seagate: no.
You could consider using it as a scratchdisk. Maybe even make it hot-swappable (if it's sata) to save on power when you do not need it.
