Ive just got a new system with the following spex
Sapphire Pure Innovations (radeon 200) Skt 939
Amd Opteron 144 1.8ghz stock
2 gb ddr 500 dual channel g skill
600w silverstone strider
Ive tried 6 times so far to install windows xp, (with different copies) only for it to hangup, or say it cannot copy the file over after the format when its loading the setup files. Ive tried different cd rom drives, ive burned the discs over again, ive also tried different hard drives, and also i have tried just using 32 bit windows. It is not one particular file it wont copy over, but the last blue screen i got last night during the loading of the setup files, was 0x3b (looked it up, mentioned something about bad ram)
again, all my hardware except for my hard drives, are brand new.
this is killing me, ive got quake 4 and BF2 sitting in an unopened box, cause i cant get windows up.
please help. mahalo
