Another Vista Question

ok so I'm a bit confused...I will be building a new rig and I am wondering what is going on with vista? I keep hearing things about needing a dx 10 video card and stuff. Someone straighten me out.

Vista will be out early next year.. DX10 will come out with it.. If you want to play the newest DX10 games with all the dx10 features you will need a dx10 card.. No cards out now are dx10.. The next gen cards from both ATI and NV are expected to drop b4 the end of the year and are supposedly going to be dx10 cards..

You will still be able to run vista and play games with current mid to high end vidcards, just without dx10 features, so don't worry about that...
If you are looking to buy a new pc around mid summer, Vista is not really a compelling reason to wait..

You may want to skimp some on your initial vid card to save money and then buy a dx10 card when they come out..
