Can the paint scratch off on the black cases?

No brand in particular. But since the black ones are painted how easily can the paint get scratched. How much extra care do you have to be vs just having a regular aluminum case?

It all depends on the quality of the case. Cheap cases scratch easier. Higher quality cases will be harder to scratch, but yes the paint will scratch off.

How about the Antec p180b thats the one I have my eye on?

I just got a new Antec case and the black finish seems pretty tough, but I haven't banged it around. It seems like it will be more durable but obviously I wouldn't bang it around too much.

I have a Raidmax and even for a cheap case, it is pretty durable. The only time it scratched is when my mom dropped the scossors point down on it. (Day after I got it, I wanted to kill her) :eek: But overall, its pretty durable, its been beaten around quite a bit and stil holds up nicely.

I'd rather get the 180 silver. But from what I read the 180B black has some improvements from the silver 180.
