Okay I have a bunch of short movie clips (I think they're .avi format) and I want to be able to put them on a DVD with menus and stuff. Is there free software out there that will allow me to do this? I just want to make it so when you pop in the DVD it will start up and play like a normal full length movie DVD. Thanks for the help.

If you can find a program to make you an ISO of what you want, DVD Decrypter can burn it for you. I've never found DVD creation freeware before, but it probably exists. If you look around for an OEM version of Nero, you can get it really cheap. I got mine a year or two ago for $5 or $6 for the full suite. Don't remember from where though.

DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink are great for ISO images.

Are you running Linux or Windows?
here (http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=180017) has some info that might be helpful
Ulead has free trial software
here (http://www.brothersoft.com/dvd_video/misc_multimedia/video_dvd_maker_free_43531.html) is another free tool (never have used it personally tho)
and here (http://dvdstyler.sourceforge.net/) is an open source project that is cross platform
