Missing Hard Drive Icon

I usually leave my computer on 24/7 but I've been working alot and shut it down for a few days and after firing it back up the icon for my C drive has gone MIA. I have one hard drive in this PC (see sig) and until I turned it back on it was fine. I can change desktop icons no problem just not the icon for the c drive, any ideas how to get it back? Thanks!

the icon is the standard Windows HD icon, nothing fancy.

what view are you using?
tile, icon, list, details?
perhaps just the view has changed for you.... just a thought....

you may want to look at one of those XP customize apps out there, like Tweak UI
I some had hte ability to easily swap icons.... it is strange your's is not showing because that icon is built into a DLL file (IIRC: also could be explorer.exe or others) and other icons should be missing too, since that file containts many icons.

jsut looked through my TweakUI and not seeing icons there...

yeah definately weird since I partitioned the drive C for the OS and D for everything else, the icon for D still shows. I'm stumped.
