Default Media Player

So I just installed Nero 7.0 and now it thinks that nero showtime should be teh debault player when I'm trying to play mpegs, AVI's and etc.. How so I switch it back to Media Player as the default player windows uses?

right click a video file then do open with and select choose program.

then select whatever you want and check the box for always open file with this application then click ok.

only way i have ever done it,

it is supposed to say choose "open with" not open. srry about that.

Open my computer > tools > folder options > file types tab

you can set the defaults of any file type there :)

If you are using Windows Media Player:

Open WMP > Tools > Options ... > File Types Tab > Select All Button
