When : June 23rd 9pm through June 25th 9am (approx.)
Where : Intel Campus, 5000 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ
Who : 300 of your closest gaming friends and me! (over 250 attended DB 4.0)
What to pay : $25 pre-pay, $30 at the door (FREE soda for the entire event to those who pay by June 17th!)

There will be numerous games played and open-gaming is encouraged. There should be plenty of bandwidth for online gaming. Main titles include: CS:S, BF2, WoW, Desert Combat, FEAR, Quake 4, Unreal Tournament 2004

Tournament Schedule (tentative):
Sat 11am - BF2 8 vs 8
Sat 1pm - CS:S 5 vs 5
Sat 3pm - Desert Combat 8 vs 8
Sat 5pm - FEAR 4 vs 4 CTF
Sat 7pm - Quake IV 4 vs 4 CTF
Sat 9pm - UT2K4 1 vs 1 DM

I will be in the Texas Hold'em Tourney. I don't remember what else I am in. Mostly a PUG. I will be the one running the demo computer this time arround. I get to play with all the new toys this time. Drop by and see me. :D

We will be giving out a new beverage from the Bawls group called "Snobawls" starting on Saturday. Caffene will be a plenty there. I know their is a parking garage there so if your early enough, you can have your car in covered parking the whole time!!! That is worth gold in my book. I don't know that it is the closest to the building we will be playing in though. Don't forget your LAN cables people!! if you got at least a 25' run, you should be safe playing. Power strips will help out greatly too.

I am trying to get some stuff together for a little clinic, but I doubt it will go far. Just think though. It's Thursday now. FRIDAY IS THE DAY!!!

To those that missed out:

This room was definately setup for a great lan! The A/C was working EXTREMELY well. I had to have a jacket at night for game play. The tourneys were great. They gave out 8 Intel Extreme Edition processors. :cool: No portapoties, not hot at all, excellent setup and game play. For the first time there, all issues were delt with quickly and people really had a great time. Count me in for the next one! :D

That was the best venue DB has ever seen. I love the warehouse but the portapotties kind of suck. I got there at 8pm on friday and didnt leave til sunday morning, and it was very very comfortable. There saying the next one wont be until next year which is unfortunate but I understand it takes time to get things in place.
