My friend and I are having an argument, he has media center 2005 on his laptop and he wants to install xp pro because he thinks MCE2005 has more processes than xp pro

do you think mce2005 has more processes running than xp pro? (if you did a fresh install, boot up, and ctrl+alt+del with each xp versions which would have less processes MCE2005 or XP Home)

So what if it does? The number of processes running isn't a very good way to measure OS performance, since some of those processes take very little memory or CPU time.
