Wichita LAN Party Presents - Summer LAN

Ok everyone for the people that haven't hit the site as of recent our next event is scheduled and we are in full swing to bring a great event to you. A couple of things have changed for this event and it will be detailed as needed below. So here you go folks here is the breakdown for WLP Summer LAN.

!!NEW!! We have moved rooms to Regency I this is the biggest room they have outside of renting the big open area on the other side of the pool. Advantage is we can fit more then 70 people and not feel cramped like last time!

Cost:

$10.00 pre-paid in advance $15.00 at the door (registration not required to attend the event)

$25.00 buy in per-team for the Counter-Strike Source Tournament (see below for details)

ey Everyone here is an update for WLP- Summer LAN!

This event is looking like it will go off without hitch! if you haven't been paying attention now is the time! We have alot going on in the background that we will announce at this LAN so you will not want to miss it! One thing I will tell you to look for is console gaming to come to WLP, with Halo 2 and other games being so heavly played it is time this gets incorperated into events. Stay tuned for more info on this.

The Schedule is set for this event and is as follows:

Counter-Strike: Source 5v5 Cash Tournament:

Prelims 3pm - 5pm
Semi-Finals: 7pm - 9pm
Finals: 9pm - 10pm

Unreal Tournament 2004 1v1

Prelims: 1pm - 3pm
Semi-Finals: 4pm - 6pm
Finals: 9pm-10pm

Quake 4 1v1

Prelims: Midnight - 2am
Semi-Finals: 2am - 3am
Finals: 3am - 4am

Speaking of Registration, we have had some of our folks talk to us about the whole pre-pay and paypal thing we have going on. I do understand this is some what of a hassle, but i didn't realize how much it really was until a few people spoke up. That being said, We have decided to eliminate manditory pre-pay for the discount rate. BUT you will need to be pre-registered (signed up on the website) by a Certian date to recieve this lower rate.

So effective immediately, Sign up for the LAN by midnight July 9th and your entry fee at the door will only be $10.00! If you want to pre-pay by paypal still, your welcome too but is no longer required.
