Hey guys,

this is bugging the crap out of me, I've searched the registry and changed any possible value that would not allow a user to change the desktop background but it's still not working. Even opening a picture in paint/picture viewer and hitting "Set as Desktop Background" it does nothing. Right clicking on the desktop and going to properties, then desktop and the background image chooser is "greyed out" (disabled). Any ideas?

Thanks,

Zalbag

A google search of your exact thread title brought this (http://forum.tweakxp.com/forum/Topic184125-28-1.aspx) up as the first result. Looks like it's worth a shot.

Actually, there was a seperate user account on the system so I logged in there and was able to delete the "broken" account, re-create it and that seemed to fix the problem.

Sorry for not checking Google first, I am a little burnt out on Google not turning up good results for my searches (maybe I am just not using the right verbage, I don't know...)
