I have a question about Ram. Here is the Setup I am going to have and I would like to know what you guys would suggest.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 1GHz HT 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Dual Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Video Card: eVGA 256-P2-N516 Geforce 7800GT
Ram: G.SKILL Extreme Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231021
or
Ram: OCZ Platinum Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 500
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227225
Reading the reviews its looks like the GSkill runs at 260FSB with 2.6V, 3-4-3-8 while the OCZ Runs 250 at 2.5-3-2-8. 260 at 3-3-2-8. Is that extra latency worth the hundred bucks or are we talking just numbers here? Like would I really notice that kind of difference? Also if you have any other ram you would suggest that tops out at the 300 dollar mark I am all ears.
Thanks for all the info guys I really appreciate it.
