Hey guys. I just read in a local paper about this new LAN center over on Rockville Pike - x3o gaming. It looks pretty nice, and I'll be checking it out shortly. They even sponsor teams and leagues. Their website seems well put togeather in comparison to other lan centers in the area. I'll see if I can find an online version of what was in the local paper. Quick rundown

Food and drink available for sale.
Cheap hourly and daily rates
You can bring your own peripherals, though I'm not sure about your own PCs.
Sponsorship/tournaments
Approximately 22 PCs, all outfitted with 6600/6800 or better
Xboxes/Xbox360s and big screen HDTVs
DDR and music games available
Yes, even females come to play, if the paper's article is true. Ladies play free every thursday, guys get free time if they bring a girl with them.

The only thing I have reservations about so far, is there's no mention of PS2/GC anywhere. Not sure if they have some aversion to them or what. In any event, I just wanted to let [H] in the DC/MD Metro area know.

I've been there before. I brought my girlfriend. It was a pretty cool place. If I remember correctly they don't have any PS2/Gamecubes. Just Xbox's with big screen tv's. When I was there last (at least 3-4) months ago they were setting up Xbox's Live on their units. So, I'm sure that's available now.

They also had what seemed like about 18-20 PC machines. There were a few CS'ers there. Me and the woman played some NFS and mostly Burnout on the Xbox. I haven't been there in a while, but I'd recommend it.
