Recently i bought a foxconn wireless network adapter, and whenever it does work, speeds are excellent, but after about 10 minutes of usage the internet will start turning on and off, like the little windows wireless icon will turn gray and then green again and gray and green forever every other second consequently turning off my internet connection. I'm not sure why though? I installed Ralink wireless adapter drivers btw.

Also using a dfi nfII infinty board, 1800+, 512mb 3200 geil value ram

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've already tried removing the nvidia ethernet drivers and reinstalling, and it made no difference.

UPDATE for reasons unknown the internet still works apparently when the connection keeps dropping but ONLY for AIM. I'm not sure why. Is there a software problem? It won't work trying to connect to anything else. Could it be a problem w/ zonealarm? I can't uninstall it or reinstall it because of some root certificate that failed to verify. How do i fix this?

It isn't a RaLink 2400 chipset is it?

2400 is garbage on PCB, I've not much faith in RaLink since.

Aside from that, ping your router, example, "ping 192.168.0.1 -t" and see if it ever drops. Just leave it going for a while. ctrl c closes.

Also, go to device manager, see if you have the option to disable power management on the wireless card.
