So Seagate is in the process of buying out its archrival Maxtor. Is this good or bad? What does the [H]ard community think about all this?

Personally, I hope that Hitachi Steps up into the space maxtor once filled, or even more interesting... Samsung?!?!?!

Eh, it's old news as far as I'm concerned, and I can wait to see what happens. I plan to buy more Maxtor disks before Seagate actually starts making product line changes.
