2,200$ total cost with overnight shipping. . .what do you think?

Four gigs of RAM and only one 256MB GTX? What do you plan on using this rig for?

Most people I know would rather have two GTs in their rig -- or one (if not the first of two) 512MB GTX -- instead of the full 4GB of RAM.

I like the Armor.

Man drop down to two gigs. - with three you cant run true dual channel, IIRC. 2 GB is plenty.

so would two gigs in dual channel work more efficiently than 3? i know more isn't always better, i can afford to go to 4 gigs, although right now i can hear you thinking "what the hell do you need 4 gigs for?". Nothing really :D . I usually will run games in unison with bit torrent, temp monitor programs, synergy, and windows media, and ive been running 2 gigs with 4 512mb sticks so i know the limits of a 2 gig rig, if 4 gigs would work better (to keep true dual channelness) i can afford to go the extra 120$. Yes, i have alot of money saved up, but no, i wont go for all the most expensive, because they don't perform SO much better that you will necessarily notice unless you are running alot of high end software, simultaneously.

I DONT think I'm wrong HERE.

If you run four sticks, they run in 2T, which is bad. ( same with 3 Sticks)

If you Run 2 Sticks, they Run in 1T, which is good :)

Yup...That's what I would do....

BUT...if you have the money, get 2 kits. Do Benchmarks with One, then both. From there you can decide to either keep em, return em, or use em for another PC

i might go with one, and divert the saved money into other enterprises, like soundproof foam and an extra dvd-rom for my file server, which is basically going to be from my current rig once im done with this baby.

I got CM stacker 830. Awesome case.

supports up to like 10 x 120mm fans, and enough space to put anything
anywhere you want. HDD case, with 120mm fan, a nice PSU compartment,
and removable MB tray. Also everything has been setup so you can easily
upgrade from ATX to BTX anytime.

I like CMstacker better then armour personally, but its pretty costly...

both are around 160, my current case is a tsunami . .. so that kind of money isn't really a problem

oh yea. .NOT THE 830!!! NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER

haha, but seriously its majorly overpriced, no airflow with the wide open layout, way too noisy with the amount of fans i would put into it. . .and i just don't like it ;)

i know the structure, but for what im looking for it would be too loud, and it just seems overpriced when the stacker 810 or armor could do the job just as well
