I've tried just about everything to reach 9x300 but I just can't get it stable. My PC will either refuse to boot or it'll be extremely unstable. The system is stable at 10x270 for over 24hrs P95 stable but I wanted to test out that myth that a lower multiplier can net a higher overall CPU speed.

I've tried:

2x/3x HTT multi
NB voltage boost
memory dividers as low as 1/2

Probably a few other things I can't remember. Any good tips on how I can reach this milestone?

What about 4x300?

You know, you aren't guaranteed an outstanding overclock with every processor...

Duh, but sometimes with tweaking you can reach a goal.

I tried 5x300, it booted but was unstable.

So it's just your mobo holding you back?
What is yout HTT multi set to?

I'm not too sure, on my A8N32-SLi I couldn't even break 260 but I'm doing 270 with ease on the MSI so it could be the mobo.

HTT multi is at 3x.

Are you following the eclipse OC guide?
Have you determined your mobo's max FSB yet?

Now that's not very nice. And just to let you know, sometimes you just can't reach it.
