Right now I have an ATA WD 80gb 8mb cache that I use. Thinking of getting two new SATA drives, one for Windows/programs, one for games, and leaving my ATA drive as backup.

Would that setup work without any problems?

Actually how is it supposed to be setup? I've never had SATA drives before; my new motherboard will support them Abit KN8 SLI. Do I have to set the Windows SATA hard drive to master and the other two to slave, or my ATA can be set to master as well.... or it doesn't matter?

Thanks.

You will have to set up the boot order like any other setup. For sata there is no master and slave, one connector on the motherboard goes to one drive. I would put the boot drive on the first sata channel.
