We all know the speed of DDR3, plus isn't it 256bit? I guess my question is will we see this on Mobo soon? DDR1200?

256bit?
don't get your video card stuffs mixed up with normal system ram.

also, we won't be seeing ddr3 anytime soon, esp since ddr2 just made it to market not too long ago. focus more on tweaks that ddr2 gets and fun IC's, not what's gonna replace it

AFAIK all DDR is 64bit, but you can widen the bus by adding more channels. 256bit bus means it has 4 channels.

Good info to know... so still anything higher thne 64bit doesn't = necessarily higher speed...

Why doesn't DDR have 184 bits? Or some reduction there of for voltage etc...

a lot of stuff for voltages, and some for ecc that aren't used irrc.. also purely by design.. it's kinda complicated though :p

there's a data sheet that shows what all the pins are for somewhere... search micron, they should have one
