I have an Asus P4P800-e deluxe mb, and it has 4 SATA connectors. The first 2 are labeled "sata 1 and 2" and the second 2 are labled "sata raid 1 and 2". If I plug 2 sata drives into the first two connectors, every thing works fine. In fact, the Intel raid configuration utility shows up, and I don't think it's supposed when the drives are plugged into the first two connectors.
But when I plug the drives into the second 2 connectors, nothing shows up. I've tried every BIOS setting in there. Any ideas? thanks
