I think you have to get a plan, but free after rebate, i heard this phone was real good.

Not really a hot deal when they have them all the time. Hell, you can get a RAZR for free if you sign up for a two year contract.

Yup I have the SE w900i and loving it very cool phone and a lot better than my cuz's razr(camera video quality) and better than my motov600 well that's obvious...

I've been looking to get 2 of these phones for a family plan. Does anyone know of any sites that allow you to get this phone with just a one year contact as oposed to two years. I would be willing to pay a little more.

Looks like Amazon just requires activation for the $150 rebate. You could then get the phone for $100. I have an S710a which I believe just has a little less storage than this one. Awesome phone.

I was simply using the Razr as an example that almost every phone on Amazon is free with activation/contract. Some even give you money back after rebate.

newegg... but check out other stores you might find bit lower price but hiked up shipping...well thats what I saw thats why i went egg...
