Not sure if this is the right place to put this...but,

I have a 250GB NAS i recently bought and I was wondering if there was a way to automatically mount a share when I log into OS X? Can this be done through Automator? I looked, but I am very unfamiliar with Automator.

I can do this manually, but it is kind of a pain. I would actually want to be able to mount 5 shares everytime I log in. Any help is appreciated!!

Haven't used automator for making that kind of connection. But if you want to do it using the deep dark Unix underside, this is a good link (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20031022164821984). (assuming the NAS supports SMB shares). There are equivalent ways for doing NFS mounts which are more along straight UNIX lines assuming your NAS supports it.

www.macosxhints.com rocks for OS X related stuff.

Cool. Thank you very much. Won't get to try it until tonight - but I'm sure it will work :)
