for what reason.. Are you using a touch screen monitor or anything like that? pen based software? .. what features are you looking for that you think tablet will give you?

Agreed. XP Tablet is useless unless you have a Tablet PC, in which case it would have come with XP Tablet as well.

Yes it is a tablet PC and no it did not come with it because I bought it used, but it did come with a brand new version of win XP home.

well then the answer is No.. there is no upgrade path to tablet from anything, its a beast unto itself.. Did it come with home loaded??? what does the coa sticker say ..does it say home or tablet?... if it says home your S.O.L... if it says tablet then you "SHOULD" be able to use just about anyone's tablet os disk and type in your COA and be ok

try the download here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/tabletpc/upgrade/default.mspx)Personally I doubt it'll work since the tablet os is based off of PRO..and you've got home. but you may get some of the functunality ..or you might get a dead box.. and worst case your back to home..make sure sp2 is installed first

Sounds like you got hosed on the deal, considering XP Tablet is what's intended for thos devices. The entire point of a tablet is to have the pen features. You probably don't have much of a recourse now, unless you were lied to in the product description.
